37884 goes in for repairs

Arlingtons have done a stunning job repairing 37884 and nearly a month ahead of schedule, due in the paint shop very soon and then she's back in traffic!

37510 rebuild

Quick update on 37510: bodywork now complete, and the windows, grills, and engine have been fitted.

Both cabs have also been completely rebuilt. Not long before it will be on the load bank for testing!

Forward Facing CCTV survey

37601 is now back at UK Rail Leasing's Leicester TMD for routine maintenance following its repaint and naming.
Today 37601 was also being surveyed for fitment of Forward Facing Cameras (FFCCTV) which will be used for training purposes and to provide evidence in the event of an incident.

37601 (37005) was today unveiled in Rail Operations Group branded Europhoenix livery and named Perseus at Arlington Fleet Services, Eastleigh.

New Europhoenix website by Wulfrun

Wulfrun Consulting has been appointed to refresh the Europhoenix website and manage all associated social media accounts.

The new website which is optimised for viewing on desktops, tablets or smartphones includes a new gallery section where readers can submit pictures of Europhoenix locos at work in both the UK and on the continent.

Glenn Edwards of Europhoenix is pictured with Daniel Cartwright of Wulfrun Consulting in his Wolverhampton office after agreeing the deal.

37884 ROG Tightlock Locomotive to unit coupler

Following successful field testing, Europhoenix 37884 (hired to Rail Operations Group), has been fitted with the new ROG Tightlock Locomotive to unit coupler on both ends.

The ROG coupler eliminates the requirement for translator vehicles (which increases reliability whilst eradicating depot shunt moves) and 37884 will now be utilised for the movement of second generation EMU vehicles across the UK rail network.

37601 in the paint shop

37601 is now in the paint shop at Arlington Fleet Services, Eastleigh, for relivery prior to re-entry into service on contract with Rail Operations Group.
