Following successful field testing, Europhoenix 37884 (hired to Rail Operations Group), has been fitted with the new ROG Tightlock Locomotive to unit coupler on both ends.
The ROG coupler eliminates the requirement for translator vehicles (which increases reliability whilst eradicating depot shunt moves) and 37884 will now be utilised for the movement of second generation EMU vehicles across the UK rail network.
